Griffin Claw Brewing Company unveils their 2020 beer release calendar, bringing back old favorites with the addition of new specialties.
Adding to the core lineup of year rounders is Pilsner By Default, a crisp Pils that has seen great popularity as a seasonal release last year.
“We added Pilsner By Default to the seasonal lineup last year, but it quite literally became a lot of our customer’s default beer, so it just made sense to make it year round,” said Griffin Claw Sales Director Kyle VanDeventer. Pilsner By Default is available on draft, in 16 ounce cans as well as 15 packs of 12 ounce cans.
Haze Force is another beer that was so successful in small limited batches that Griffin Claw plans to continue releasing fresh batches all year.
New brands can be found in the specialty category which include a never before seen version of Flying Buffalo that has been double barrel aged, in bourbon barrels followed by Rye Whiskey barrels. Other brand new beers from the barrel aged series are the Brandy Barrel aged Marzen and Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged Canadian Tuxedo Rye Ale.
“We’re really excited about this calendar as all these beers will be sent into distribution. On top of that we have a whole slew of specialty release taproom only projects we’ll be releasing all through the year too, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for that,” said VanDeventer.
In addition to these new releases, Griffin Claw notes their brand-new line of Hard Seltzers hitting store shelves early this year. Launching with a Variety 12 pack of four flavors that include: Tazmanian Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Georgia Peach, and Black Cherry. Also coming in 2020 are more specialty ciders and meads.
